Google Reader

What is it?  Google Reader is a Web-based aggregator, capable of reading Atom and RSS feeds online or offline.

Spreeder

"Spreeder is free online speed reading software designed to improve your reading speed and comprehension." Based on the theory that what prevents us from reading fast is something called subvocalization (the "inner voice that paces through the text that keeps [us] from achieving higher reading speeds"), spreeder allows you to copy and paste any text into an application that presents the words to you one at a time at a rate you specify.
