And for those who didn't know (to use the words of my classmate Shaun:) "Pre-production is everything that goes into creating a film to be made - the idea, the script, the funding, the schedule (both for filming and for finances), the casting, collecting a crew, the shot list (where the camera will be put and moved in each part of the film), the storyboard (basically a comic-book version of how to make the film), side notes, meetings, etc... And it's all in one package!"
How do I get started?
Head on over to Celtx's main site and hit the download button. I've added a tutorial below which was the clearest and quickest I could find but you can find a number of tutorials on how to use the program here.
