Celtx

What is it? Let's ask Dr. Wikipedia. "Celtx is free media pre-production software designed for creating and organizing media projects like screenplays, films, videos, stageplays, audio plays, documentaries, machinima, comics, games and podcasts."
And for those who didn't know (to use the words of my classmate Shaun:) "Pre-production is everything that goes into creating a film to be made - the idea, the script, the funding, the schedule (both for filming and for finances), the casting, collecting a crew, the shot list (where the camera will be put and moved in each part of the film), the storyboard (basically a comic-book version of how to make the film), side notes, meetings, etc... And it's all in one package!"

How do I get started?
Head on over to Celtx's main site and hit the download button. I've added a tutorial below which was the clearest and quickest I could find but you can find a number of tutorials on how to use the program here.

Examples of how our class used Celtx:
Shaun Frenza, and aspiring actor/ filmmaker in our class wrote a review of what Celtx can do for you.

Thanks to AdmanTemp (Youtube) for the tutorial.
